Protect your wood (teak and cork) from the harshest climatic attacks with TEAK PROTECT . This saturator deeply nourishes your wood and guarantees high, long-lasting protection for your decks and garden furniture .

Easy to use , it is applied using a brush or roller and dries in 15-20 minutes. Two coats are necessary to ensure optimal protection and maintain the natural appearance of wood and cork.

Application :

1. Do not dilute. Mix the product well before and during application, to homogenize the color and limit nuances due to possible sedimentation.
2. Apply a generous layer of TEAKPROTECT in the direction of the wood fibers and over the total length of the board, paying particular attention to the ends. Smooth with a back and forth movement until you obtain a homogeneous appearance.
3. Whenever possible, always finish in the same direction. Always finish at the level of a blade or a natural break such as a door, window or porthole.
4. Apply a second coat when the wet appearance of the wood disappears (approximately 15 to 20 minutes). Never let dry between coats. Apply “charges upon charges”.
5. If necessary, repeat the application until the support is saturated (refusal of the wood) in particular on very porous woods such as heat-heated, old resinous, etc.
6. Smooth the excess product with a spalter (or even wipe with a lint-free cloth) before drying to avoid any traces of runs or shine upon drying. TEAKPROTECT must be in the wood and not on the surface.
7. The final appearance is matte. Any trace of shine is a sign of the presence of product on the surface.
8. When applying by gun, smoothing is always recommended to improve penetration and give a uniform appearance

10 to 12 m²/l for one coat. 5m²/l in multi-layer system..
