Lithofin MN Colour Plus is a special product for marble, natural stone and artificial stone.

It is a ready-to-use impregnation product based on silicones and special additives dissolved in organic solvents used to enhance colors.

Lithofin MN Colour Plus penetrates the stone to make it water-repellent and enhance its colour and structure without producing a shine.

This product intensifies the color and gives a wet look. Once treated, the surface is more resistant to stains and easier to maintain.

Lithofin MN Colour Plus leaves no film, thus preserving vapor permeability.

Area of use:

Lithofin MN Colour Plus is suitable for all absorbent and porous natural stones with a rough, sawn or honed finish such as granite, gneiss, porphyry, limestone, slate, Solnhofen slabs or artificial stone and concrete.

It intensifies the color of wall or floor coverings, stairs, terraces whose appearance is too bland or whose shade needs to be matched to that of a polished surface.

Caution: Not suitable for non-absorbent, polished, highly honed or fired surfaces such as Dutch brick, porcelain stoneware, etc. If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area.

Instructions for use:

1. Apply a thin, even coat of Lithofin MN Colour Plus with a clean roller, applicator broom or brush and allow it to penetrate.
2. Highly absorbent surfaces may require a second coat.
3. A layer that is too thick can make less absorbent surfaces shiny. To avoid this shine, remove the excess with a lint-free cloth.

Note: Sensitive surfaces such as glass, wood, lacquer, plastic, and similar materials should be protected from splashes. Do not apply in direct sunlight or at temperatures below 5°C or above 25°C.

   No, MN Colour Plus intensifies the colour and creates a slight wet effect, but does not form a glossy film.
2. Can it be used on bluestone?
   Yes, it's one of the most common uses. The effect reveals dark nuances and adds aesthetic depth.
3. Is it compatible with an outdoor terrace?
   Yes, it is perfectly resistant to weathering, UV rays and climatic variations.
4. Does the product change the texture of the stone?
   No, it penetrates the surface but does not change its roughness or feel.
5. Can the sealants be applied after the treatment?
   It is generally recommended to treat after grouting, except in the case of very porous stones requiring prior protection (pre-grouting impregnation).
6. Is the treatment reversible?
   Not entirely. The effect diminishes over time, but complete removal is difficult without professional stripping.
7. What is the duration of protection?
   Between 2 and 5 years outdoors (depending on exposure) and 5 to 10 years indoors.
8. Can MN Colour Plus be applied to a surface that is already oiled or treated?
   No, the surface must be clean and absorbent. A surface that is already saturated will need to be stripped beforehand.
9. Is the product dangerous for plants or animals?
   Once dry, the product is safe. During application, avoid all contact with vegetation or animals.
10. Does MN Colour Plus prevent the stone from breathing?
    No, it remains permeable to water vapor, which prevents blistering or internal damage.
