MN Protection - Water repellent for natural stones - Lithofin

Lithofin MN Protection is a stone impregnator containing solvents and high-grade, weather-resistant siloxane compounds.

Lithofin MN-Protection makes treated surfaces water repellent. Water absorption is reduced by 80% to 98% depending on the type of support, the permeability to water vapor is however largely retained.

Waterproofing reduces the tendency of facades to become dirty. Floors become easier to maintain. The appearance of the treated coating is not modified and does not become shiny, but the color of a large number of stones may be slightly accentuated.

This product is UV resistant and does not yellow.

Outdoors, the action of the impregnation lasts about 5 years and depends on the atmospheric conditions.

Indoors, it lasts almost indefinitely with proper maintenance.

Application domain :

This product can be used both indoors and outdoors for the impregnation of floors, walls, facades and other structures made of absorbent natural stones such as granite, gneiss, porphyry, marble, limestone, sandstone. , concrete etc.

Manual :

• Apply Lithofin MN Protection to the absorbent, dry and clean surface using a brush, broom or clean applicator roller and allow to penetrate.
• For very absorbent surfaces, repeat the operation after approximately 30 minutes.
• For poorly absorbent or polished surfaces, generously apply Lithofin MN Protection, allow to penetrate for 20 to 30 minutes and completely clean off the excess with a clean cloth.

Please note: non-absorbent surfaces, such as ceramic tiles, cannot be treated. If in doubt, test in an inconspicuous area.

Important: Surfaces sensitive to solvents, glass, cabinetmaker's varnishes and plastic materials must be protected from splashes. Do not use in direct sunlight or at temperatures above 25°C.

• Rough, sawn granite: from 5 to 10 m²/litre
