PARABOND PANEL single-component elastic adhesive is a professional-grade , hybrid polymer (MS Polymer) fixing adhesive, specially developed for the durable bonding of facade panels to load-bearing aluminum or wood frames. Its highly adhesive and elastic formula ensures immediate hold and high resistance to vibration, weathering, and temperature variations. Parabond Panel is solvent-free and isocyanate-free , guaranteeing a clean and safe application, both indoors and outdoors .

Instructions for use

1. Surface preparation

   • The surfaces must be clean, dry, solid, and free from dust, grease or oil.
   • It is recommended to use Hybrid & PU Prime r (transparent or black, drying time approx. 15 min.) on absorbent materials.

2. Implementation conditions

   • Application temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C .
   • Do not apply in the rain or on frozen surfaces.
   • Respect the recommended spacing between cords (generally 10–20 mm depending on configuration).

3. Application

   • Apply the glue in continuous vertical beads on the frame, next to the Panel Tape adhesive tape.
   • Press the panel down immediately after application to ensure good contact.
   • The adhesive strip holds the panel in place while the glue fully cures.

4. Hardening

   • Polymerization by reaction with atmospheric moisture.
   • Curing speed: approx. 2–3 mm / 24 h depending on temperature and humidity.
   • Final strength obtained after complete hardening.

5. Cleaning

   • Before hardening: clean with a cloth or a suitable product (e.g. , Parasilico Cleaner ).
   • After hardening: mechanical removal.

What is the curing time and the time required before final strength?

Polymerization occurs through reaction to atmospheric humidity. Curing progresses at a rate of approximately 3–3.5 mm/24 h (at 23 °C / 50% RH). Final strength is achieved after complete curing.
