A perfectly transparent hybrid polymer- based bonding and sealing putty for bonding and sealing almost all materials on almost any surface requiring transparency.

Applications:

• Transparent bonding in indoor and outdoor applications where colored adhesive would be a problem.
• Sealing the joints on the inside.

Instructions for use:

1. Preparation :
   • Do not apply in confined spaces. It is important to ventilate the areas well during application and curing.
   • The surfaces must be solid, clean, dust-free and grease-free.
   • If necessary, degrease with Parasilico Cleaner , MEK, alcohol or ethanol.
   • The user must ensure that the product used is suitable for their intended purpose. If necessary, contact our technical support.
   • Remove standing water, water film or droplets. Best adhesion is achieved on dry surfaces, but the surface does not need to be completely dry.
2. Primary schools:
   • For absorbent materials, the Hybrid & PU Primer (transparent or black, drying time approx. 15 min.) is recommended.
3. Laid :
   • Apply the product by extruding a bead or dots onto the substrate or the item to be bonded. The beads should be applied in parallel vertical strips so that the humidity in the air between the beads can polymerize the adhesive.
   • Assemble the materials as quickly as possible (within 10 minutes maximum), taking into account the temperature and relative humidity. Adjustments can be made. Tighten securely or tap lightly with a mallet.
4. Joint dimensions:
   • For joints up to 10 mm wide: the joint depth must be equal to the joint width. For joints wider than 10 mm: the joint depth = (joint width/3) + 6 mm
   • Allowable joint widths from 5 mm to 10 mm.
5. Smoothing:
   • Smooth before skin formation with Perfect Joint Tooling Smoothing Agent liquid and/or with the Perfect Joint Tool smoothing palette.
6. Cleaning:
   • If necessary, smooth any excess glue that appears on the edges with a spatula. Remove any fresh glue residue with Parasilico Cleaner , Multi-Purpose Super Cleaner or Cleaning Wipes .
   • After hardening, mechanically remove the hardened elements.
7. Paint :
   • Can be painted after curing with most water-based and solvent-based paints. Curing time depends on the dimensions of the joint.
   • After 48 hours, the surface must first be cleaned before it can be painted.
   • Given the wide variety of paint types available, it is recommended to test the compatibility between the sealant and the paint beforehand.
   • By using alkyd-based paints, the drying time can be extended.
