Xylkote - Saturator for interior woods - Owatrol

Properties:

Xylkote protects:

• Penetrates the wood and isolates it from moisture.
• Stabilize the raw wood.
• Avoids the risk of deformations.
• Autoprotege mold and fungi.

Xylkote decorating:

• Highlights the grain of the wood, in particular the white wood (FIR, pine, spruce, Ayous,...).
• Colourless - Matt appearance.
• Satin colorless - with passage of a cleaner 24 h after saturation.
• Possible tinted appearance with universal dyes (5-10 g per litre) or with liquid waxes (consult us).

• Easy maintenance with SOAP and water.
• Easy maintenance without sanding or stripping.

Pro tips:

Always complete the application in the direction of the grain of the wood. For prosecutors in major trafficking (gym, trade, train station, airport,...) please contact us.
For exotic woods (teak, Merbau,...) use of the decks Olje D.1.

Application:

• Apply a layer of Xylkote with a brush or roller.
• Let the product penetrate 15-30 minutes.
• Repeat until saturation (allow 2-3 passages on new wood).
• Always complete the application in the direction of the grain of the wood.
• Do not let dry between coats.
• Always wipe the excess product to avoid any hint of shine.
• Commissioning within 24 to 48 hours.
• Cleaner: 24 hours. After saturation, apply the Xylkote and turn on the machine to complete drying of the Xylkote.

Recommendations before application:

• On new wood: always dust off the surface and check that the wood is completely dry.
• Wood aged, stained or blackened: always conduct a cleaning of the wood beforehand with a degriseur type Net-Trol.
• Wood stained, varnished or waxed: the wood must be imperatively décirés, stripped or sanded until a return to the raw wood.

Performance:

8 to 12 m² per litre.

Maintenance:

Maintenance: Cleaning with SOAP and water or with a sponge or a wrung out MOP.

Maintenance: Schedule an inspection of support annually. In the case of a deterioration of the Xylkote on certain areas, apply 1 layer, allow 20 to 30 minutes. Repeat if necessary until saturation. Let dry for 24 hours.
