InsulMass 7.5 is a thin and flexible acoustic insulation ideal for acoustically insulating light walls such as a ceiling , a wooden floor or a partition .

This membrane is easily glued or stapled to plasterboard or wood panels . Weighing 7.5 kg/m², this is the heaviest version of the InsulMass range.

Composition :

InsulMass 7.5 is made of a mixture of recycled polymers loaded with high-density mineral materials . This heavy mass is covered on one side with a reinforcing PE film.

Applications:

1 - In a partition

Increases the mass and density of each wall of a lightweight partition. This configuration reduces noise transmission between two neighboring rooms (bedroom, office, living room, etc.).

2 - In a counter-partition between rooms

Used to acoustically insulate a party wall, in an apartment or an old house, in order to avoid the lateral transmission of airborne noise.

3 - In a false ceiling

Improves the acoustic performance between floors by integrating one of the heavy masses of the insulMass range.

3 - In a wooden floor

Provides a thin, complementary and effective solution to the parquet underlay to reduce contact and airborne noise.
