dB Strip 4+ - High performance uncoupling strip - Insulco

dB Strip 4+ is a resilient strip in physical reticulated PE foam with a pyramidal structure on one side and a self-adhesive surface with protector on the other side.

This uncoupling strip has been specially designed to improve the acoustic performance of light partitions or wooden floors .

It is very simple and economical to install.

Applications:

• Uncoupling a wooden floor:

Remove the protector and glue the “dB Strip 4+” resilient strip to the joists before laying the new floor.

• Separate a lightweight partition:

Glue “dB Strip 4+” on the exterior face of the horizontal and vertical metal profiles before fixing them to the side walls, ceiling and floor. The resilient strip will limit the contact between the profiles and their support. The dB Strip 4+ will also make it possible to fill all the irregularities of the walls, the floor and the ceiling and to make perfectly waterproof all the contour of the partition.

In order to improve the acoustic performance of the partition, it is advisable to stick “dB Strip 3+” acoustic strips on the sides of the horizontal and vertical profiles on which the plasterboards will be fixed (see insulco dB Strip 3 acoustic strip + ).
