SikaBond TF Plus N - One-component adhesive - Sika

SikaBond TF Plus N is a one-component polyurethane-based glue.

Features

Application areas

• Bonding of SBR and EPDM rubber profiles to concrete sewer pipe.
• Gluing the rubber profile to the concrete allows it to be held in place until the pipes fit together.

Application

1. Apply the glue with the gun in a continuous and regular joint on the concrete so that the entire bonding surface of the profile is in contact with the glue.
2. Glue the profile before the glue forms a skin and press the profile by hand until the glue overflows slightly on both sides.
3. The position of the profile can be adjusted up to 30 minutes at +23°C after bonding by sliding but without lifting, ensuring that the thickness of glue under the profile is greater than 1 mm.
4. In the event of deterioration of the adhesive joint which has just been applied or after drying, remove all the adhesive from the concrete and the profile by scraping with a triangular knife then renew the bonding.

Consumption

~ 7.6 meters of 10 mm diameter joint per 600 ml refill.
