TrafiDal - Grass tile for heavy and intense traffic - MatGeco

The TrafiDal 50 is the ideal alternative to concrete grass slabs. Visually, it resembles BG tiles and offers similar resistances which makes it suitable for heavy and intense traffic .

Made of recycled plastic , it offers higher impact resistance while being much lighter than its concrete counterpart. A slab weighs only 5.3 kg and has a resistance of more than 500t/m² .

Thanks to its low weight, the installation is much easier , faster and can be done entirely by hand .

The lateral interlockings make it possible to assemble the slabs together to align them in a rectilinear way . Once interlocked, they durably resist intensive vehicle maneuvers .

The slabs are open on approximately 53% of their surface , which allows rapid penetration of rainwater into the ground without overloading the drainage network.

Important Notes

• Do not lay the grass tiles on slopes with a gradient greater than 5%.
• The upper level of the slabs must be ±1cm lower than the other passable areas.
• Provide borders on the outline of the area.
• Provide an expansion joint of ±5 cm between the curbs and the slabs. For large surfaces, please contact us.
• As soon as the laying is finished, fill the slabs with the substrate without packing it down.
• Provide a second loading of substrate if necessary.
