Décap'Paintures VG Guard is a new generation ecological stripper designed for stripping paints, varnishes and organic coatings on a wide variety of surfaces. It is an innovation on the market that meets the demand of demanding customers for effective products that are not dangerous for humans and nature.

Décap'Peintures VG Guard is a non-corrosive stripper, without chlorinated and harmful solvents and without paraffin, it does not have the disadvantages of conventional strippers (flammability, odor, danger for the user and nature, etc.).

Emulsion in gel form, Décap'Paintures VG Guard can be easily applied using a brush . Once implemented, the product can remain for several hours on a vertical surface without problem (night work). Due to the absence of paraffin, the stripped support can be cleaned by simple scraping without rinsing and then covered with a new layer of paint or coating.

Application :

• Product specially intended for exposing surfaces covered with paint. Given the immense diversity of existing coatings, it is essential to carry out preliminary tests, particularly on very specific coatings such as epoxy, two-component polyurethane, etc.
• Use the product in its pure state, do not dilute.
• If the product has two phases in its packaging, mix well before use.
• Apply the product generously.
• Leave the product to act until the coating has completely softened for one to several hours depending on the type of paint and the number of layers to be removed.
• It is possible to leave the product on overnight and remove it the next morning.
• Collect all the disintegrated parts using a painter's knife or a spatula.
• Scratch the surface without rinsing.
• Brush to remove residue using a stiff-bristled “quackgrass” type brush. Do not use a metal brush.
• Stripped surfaces can be covered with a new coat of paint or other coating after 24 hours of drying.
