Sika Ceram EpoxyRemover is a liquid agent used to remove epoxy resin veils that have started to dry or have already hardened.
Diluted, Sika Ceram EpoxyRemover can also be used to facilitate washing when grouting with epoxy resin -based mortars .

Application

Removal of epoxy resin veils

1. Dilute 1:5 with water, apply and leave for a few minutes.
2. Remove the material using a sponge or pad.
3. Then rinse with clean water. Apply the cleaner no earlier than 48 hours after grouting with the epoxy resin mortar (24 hours at temperatures > +20°C).

Removing old, stubborn epoxy resin residue

1. Apply the product undiluted to the area to be cleaned.
2. Leave to act for 15 - 20 minutes.
3. Rub with a felt-tip pen and rinse with clean water.

Removing stains from fine sandstone

1. Apply the product undiluted to the stains.
2. Leave to act until dry and then wash and rinse with clean water.

To facilitate the washing of joints made with epoxy resin-based mortars

1. Add 5% to 10% Sika Ceram EpoxyRemover to the wash water.
2. Rinse the sponge often and change the washing water often.

To degrease and remove wax

1. Dilute 1:5 with water, apply and leave for a few minutes.
2. Remove the material using a sponge or pad.
3. Then rinse with clean water.

Routine surface cleaning

1. Dilute 1:10 to 1:20 and apply to the surface.
2. Leave to react for a few minutes and work with a single-disc machine or a brush.
3. Pick up residue using a wet vacuum cleaner or mop.
4. Finally, clean thoroughly with water.

Test on a test surface before use.
