Akepox 4050 - Anti-slip- Akemi

2-component coating for the manufacture of anti-slip strips on natural and artificial stone, ceramics , for stairs , slopes and entrances.
Can be used for granite in interior and exterior application; for limestone only indoors.

The 2-component cartridges guarantee easy, secure and clean work.

Use :

1. Thoroughly clean the completely dry surface, define the areas using adhesive tape and roughen the surface well.
2. Remove the cap from the cartridge, insert the cartridge into the gun, operate the handle until material comes out of both openings if necessary, attach a mixing nozzle.
3. If the mixing nozzle is not used, the two components must be mixed well.
4. Spread the mixed product min. 1mm and max. 2mm.
   An optimal layer thickness of approx. 1 mm is obtained if the Adhesive Tape for AKEPOX 4050 Anti-Slip Mix is used.
   Remove the excess with a spatula.
   Remove the adhesive tape after 10 minutes.
5. The mixture can be worked approx. 100 to 120 minutes (20°C).
   After 2 - 5 hours the surfaces are dry, after 12 - 16 hours (20°C) the surfaces are walkable.
   Maximum hardening after 7 days (20°C).
6. Work tools can be cleaned with AKEMI NitroDiluant.
7. Heat accelerates, cold slows hardening.
