PLATINUM liquid - Epoxy Acrylate Glue - Akemi

Clear transparent glue (very light colour), based on epoxy-acrylate , high adhesion strength, surface drying and ability to be processed very quickly, food approved (approved by an external German research center).

• Improved adhesion and adhesive strength, also on techno ceramics
• Very good adhesion on natural stones, also at high temperatures (60 - 70°C, at low loading up to 100 - 110°C)
• Resistant to water, petrol and mineral oils
• Used correctly, the hardened product is classified as harmless for bonding natural and artificial stone as well as ceramics in contact with foodstuffs

Areas of use:

Very suitable for gluing and cementing natural and artificial stones (marble, granite, concrete cut stone, terrazzo, composites) horizontally.
Also for bonding stone slabs including fiberglass (sandwich bonding) and for making artificial products with stone powder and sand.

Use :

1. The bottom to be treated must be clean, completely dry and roughened.
2. The glue can be colored with AKEMI dyes or concentrates for polyester up to 5% as well as with AKEMI Spectrum Pastes; PLATINUM P+ clear Thick L can be diluted with PLATINUM P+ liquid in any mixing ratio.
3. Add 1 - 3 g of white hardener to a quantity of 100 g of glue (1 g corresponds to approx. 4 - 5 cm taken out of the tube).
4. Thoroughly mix the two components; the mixture is then ready to use for 5 - 15 minutes (at 20°C).
5. After 15 - 40 minutes the treated parts can be processed (eg sanded, milled, drilled).
6. Heat accelerates and cold slows hardening.
7. Work devices can be cleaned with AKEMI NitroDiluant.
