SMX-15P is a single-component elastic polymer MS glue for gluing multilayer and finished factory floors with tongue and groove for laying by cords, with or without underlayment.

Free of water and solvent.

Especially suitable on suitable supports inside.

Main features:

• Ready to use, 1-component system.
• Very good resistance of the glue grooves.
• Very high final strength (shear according to EN14293).
• Suitable for heated floors.
• Moisture resistance (e.g. exotic wood in the bathroom).
• Adhesion without primary.
• Acoustic insulation with honeycomb undercoat.
• Allows a catch-up of the support up to 5 mm, ragréage not mandatory.

SOUDAL SMX-15P Glue Parquet is a glue for parquet with universal use, free of water and isocyanate.

Perfect for multilayer parquet floors, raw or factory finished, with tongue and groove.

Suitable for laying on lambourdes.

Suitable for acoustic installation with honeycomb undercoats.

For direct installation on absorbent or non-absorbent supports such as cement screeds, concrete, anhydrite, equin/ragreage, wooden underfloor, mosaics, chipboard, OSB, tiles, metal, etc.

Also for heated floors.

SOUDAL SMX-15P also allows the installation of decorative elements in wood and metal.

Conditioning:

• Color: brown.

Instructions for use: 

• Place the triangular cannula on the gun and then apply the glue cords perpendicular to the parquet blades to the floor with a gap:
  • 10 cm between cords on blades between 70 and 130 mm and thickness 15mm maximum.
  • 7 cm between the cords for blades between 130 and 180mm and more than 15mm thick.
• Limit the treated area to what can be covered with parquet within 15 minutes.
• Do not apply more glue than necessary (about 600ml/1m²).
• Lay the parquet by sliding it into the glue and type it with a mallet or a rubber hammer.
