SMX-30 Plus is a universal elastic parquet adhesive, without water or solvent.
EC 1 PLUS label: very low VOC emissions .

Suitable for bonding engineered and solid tongue and groove parquet flooring to suitable interior subfloors.

Applications:

• SMX-30 Plus is an adhesive for engineered and solid wood flooring with tongue and groove.
• Solid wood flooring with a maximum width of 200 mm and a minimum thickness of 16 mm.
• Engineered wood flooring with a maximum width of 280 mm and a minimum thickness of 16 mm.

Packaging:

• Colour: light brown.
• Packaging: 14kg (cardboard box with 2 aluminum bags), 16kg bucket, 18kg (3 aluminum bags in bucket).

Instructions for use:

• Apply the glue to the support using a notched spatula (B11 spatula).
• Limit the treated area to what can be covered with parquet flooring in 40 minutes. Lay the parquet flooring.
• Tap using a rubber mallet.
• Ensure complete contact (min. 80%) of the adhesive with the back of the parquet flooring. If necessary, weigh down the parquet flooring during polymerization.
• Proceed with sanding no sooner than 12 hours after.

2. Can solid wood flooring be glued with the SMX 30PLUS?
   Yes, it is suitable for both solid wood and engineered wood, including exotic wood species.
3. Does the glue give off any odors or harmful substances?
   Very little, it is solvent-free, isocyanate-free and certified EC1 PLUS, the best emission class available.
4. Can it be used in a bathroom or a kitchen?
   Yes, the SMX 30PLUS offers excellent resistance to moisture, but you must ensure that the chosen parquet flooring is compatible with damp rooms.
5. What is the open time of the glue?
   Approximately 40 minutes. It is advisable to work in small sections.
6. Can you walk on the parquet flooring immediately after it has been laid?
   Light traffic is possible after 12 to 24 hours. For full closure, allow up to 48 hours.
7. What type of spatula should I use?
   A B3 notched trowel or a trowel recommended by Soudal for optimal performance (0.8 to 1.2 kg/m²).
8. Is the glue resistant to aging?
   Yes, thanks to SMX technology, it remains elastic over time and does not crack.
9. Can it be glued onto old tiles?
   Yes, if the surface is clean, degreased and well adhered.
