Sika MonoTop-109 WaterProofing is a single-component, cement -based, ready-to-mix waterproofing mortar with a brush-on consistency.

Application areas

Sika MonoTop-109 WaterProofing is specially designed for waterproofing projects of manageable size, such as cellar walls, small ponds or water cisterns and underground structures.

Application

1. Sika MonoTop-109 WaterProofing is applied using a hard-bristle brush, glue brush, squeegee, spatula or trowel, in 2 to 3 coats.
2. In order to achieve good penetration and adhesion to the surface, the first coat should be applied by brush.
3. The following coats can be applied (crosswise) with a brush, spatula or trowel, as soon as the previous coat has sufficiently hardened (approximately 4 to 6 hours, maximum 12 hours). The total thickness can never be more than 4 mm.

~ 1.5 kg/m2 per mm of thickness
