SikaProof Primer-01 is a synthetic rubber -based primer , in solvent dispersion, which is an integral part of the SikaShield E80 HDPE SA 1.5 mm self-adhesive waterproofing membrane system.

Application areas :

To achieve optimum adhesion and complete bonding for the system:

• SikaShield E80 HDPE SA 1.5 mm, waterproofing membranes, self-adhesive, post applied:
  as a primer on concrete and other cement-based surfaces.

Application

1. Primer for the SikaShield E80 HDPE SA 1.5 mm system - post-applied system:
   If the support does not meet the requirements, the surface must be pre-treated before applying the primer, so as to avoid any damage to the membrane to be placed.
2. The use of SikaProof Primer-01 is essential to ensure optimal and lasting adhesion to the support (this primer is an essential element of the SikaShield E80 HDPE SA 1.5 mm system)
3. Apply the mixed primer to the fully prepared surface using a brush or roller.
4. A continuous film without small holes/pinholes should be obtained which covers the entire surface.

Consumption

~100–300 gsm.
