Soudafoam FR HY - Manual PU foam fireproof - Soudal

Soudafoam FR HY is a single component, fire rated, high performance (25% more than standard Soudafoam FR fire retardant) expanding polyurethane foam. Fast hardening.

• Expands 35 to 40 times its original volume.
• Excellent adhesion without primer on most building materials.
• Complies with all international standards.

Features :

• Fireproof expanding polyurethane foam filling
• EN13501-2 - Reaction to fire, class E
• EN1366-4 - Fire resistance, up to 4 hours depending on joint configuration
• More than 25% linear yield than Soudafoam FR
• Very good acoustic properties.

Applications:

• Use in passive fire protection systems for filling large cavities.
• Installation of fireproof window and door frames
• Sealing of expansion and connection joints.

Manual :

1. Shake the aerosol vigorously for 20 seconds.
2. Screw the nozzle onto the aerosol.
3. Moisten the dusted and degreased support.
4. For unusual substrates, it is advisable to carry out an adhesion test.
5. Fill joint or cavity 1/3 full, as foam continues to expand as it cures.
6. Shake regularly during use.
7. If multiple coats are applied, moisten between coats.
8. Uncured foam can be removed with cleaner or acetone.
9. Hardened foam can only be removed mechanically, with Soudal PU-remover.
