Soudafoam FR HY Gun - Fireproof sprayable PU foam - Soudal

Soudafoam FR HY Gun is a single-component, low-expansive polyurethane foam with a spray gun. Foam contains gases (without CFCs and HCFCs), which do not attack the ozone layer.

Soudafoam FR HY Gun is a PU foam with flame retardant properties in accordance with the European standard EN 1366-4.

Because of duravalve, the yield remains optimal throughout the shelf life, even when stored or transported horizontally.

Characteristics:

• Fire resistance in a joint (EN 1366- 4) of 240 minutes, selo the recommendations for the use of PV Efectis.
• High filling efficiency.
• Excellent adhesion on all supports except PE/PP.
• Very good thermal and acoustic insulation.
• Excellent features for mounting.
• Not resistant to UV rays.

Applications:

• Mounting of fire doors and windows.
• Sealing of fire seals in the walls and ceiling.
• As part of the Soudal Fire Range for passages and joints.
• Installation and repair of roof tiles.
• Apply a silent layer.
• All foam applications in static joints.

Conditioning:

• Color: Pink.
• Packaging: 700 ml aerosol.

Instructions for use:

• Shake the aerosol for at least 30 seconds, or at least 20 times strongly.
• Screw the aerosol onto the gun.
• Slightly moisten the clean and degreased support, for faster hardening of the foam. Only partially fill the voids (approx. 65%), as the foam continues to swell.
• Regularly shake the aerosol during use.
• If applying several layers, moisten the support between each layer.
• Uncured foam can be removed using Soudal Foam cleaner or acetone.
• Before using any of these cleaners, check that the surfaces are resistant to it, especially plastics, lacquered or painted surfaces.
