Bonding Emulsion - Bonding Primer for Floors and Walls - Knauf

Knauf Bonding Emulsion is a modified synthetic dispersion based bonding primer with high alkali resistance.

Application domain :

  • Primer for highly absorbent surfaces, before applying a leveling coat.
  • Additive for the production of dust-free and abrasion-resistant cementitious screeds.
  • Adjuvant for the preparation of repair mortars for concrete.
  • Additive for the improvement of smooth screeds and adherent cementitious screeds.
  • Prime before applying a leveling coat on non-absorbent or slightly absorbent substrates such as mastic asphalt, compact cement screeds, water-resistant chipboard, terrazzo tiles or old tiles.
  • Primer for mixed surfaces such as screeds with adhesive residues.

Consumption :

For a 1:4 dilution on a very absorbent support: approx. 30 to 40 gsm

For a 1:2 dilution on a non-absorbent support: approx. 30 to 40 gsm

Drying:

On absorbent and non-absorbent support min. 12 h (at 23° C and 50 % relative air humidity)

Conditioning :

  • Buckets of 1 kg and 5 kg
