Sika Primer EP is a solvent-free 2-component epoxy primer for vertical and horizontal concrete surfaces.
Features
- Good adhesion on concrete, even slightly damp (but matte and dark in color)
- Long service life (1h30 at +20°C)
- Hardens at low temperature (+5°C)
Application areas
Sika Primer EP is intended for experienced professional users only.
Adhesion primer before application of Sika Repair EP.
Application
- Pour all of the hardener (component B) into the binder (component A).
- Mix the two components for 3 minutes using a low-speed mixer (< 400 rpm), or failing that, manually until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Preferably apply using a stiff bristle brush.
- The concrete must be primed. On a particularly porous substrate, apply a second coat if necessary.
- Apply the Sika Repair EP on the primary still wet.
