      DubbleDrain 8.1 - Dual Structure Drainage with Geotextile - MatGeco

      Double structure dimpled drainage membrane with air space and non-woven geotextile.

      DubbleDrain 8.1 is a double-sided structured drainage mat with a thickness of 8 mm . A non-woven geotextile covers one of the two faces. The membrane can be used for both horizontal and vertical drainage .

      Horizontal drainage on sealed concrete:

      Unroll the dual structure drainage membrane directly on the waterproof concrete, geotextile side up. Then cover it with stabilized sand in order to create paving or slabs. In the event of water infiltration under the paving through the stabilized, it can be evacuated thanks to the DubbleDrain.

      Horizontal drainage under foundation slab:

      To limit hydrostatic pressure under a foundation slab, unroll the DubbleDrain 8.1 on the ground, geotextile down. Then make the raft on the membrane.

      Vertical drainage for buried walls:

      Use DubbleDrain 8.1 vertically along waterproof concrete. Direct the structured face without geotextile towards the wall. The geotextile will be on the land side in order to reduce the hydrostatic pressure against the wall. The water is brought through the DubbleDrain 8.1 to a drainage pipe located at the bottom of the buried wall.
