Descaler for coffee machines - HG

This citric acid based anti-scale coffee maker descaling product removes scale deposits from all types of espresso machines/pod percolators.

Completely biodegradable , this descaler works safely, quickly and leaves no odor .

To descale normal coffee makers , electric kettles and washing machines , we recommend using HG descaler .

Use this coffee maker descaler regularly to keep your coffee full of aroma, maintain the performance of your appliance and enjoy it for many years.

Some manufacturers advise using a descaler based on lactic acid , others recommend a descaler based on citric acid instead.

Manual :

Based on citric acid:

1. Pour 75 ml of HG descaler for citric acid coffee machines into the water tank and then fill it with water up to 750 ml (diluted 10 times). Allow this solution to act for 10 minutes.
2. Switch on the appliance and allow half of the liquid to drain out. Switch off the device, let the product act for 10 minutes, then let the rest of the liquid flow out until the tank is completely empty.
3. After treatment, rinse the device at least three times with clean tap water.
4. In the case of a pod percolator, place a support with a used pod in the machine, if necessary, so that it collects any limescale residues. This will prevent any clogs in the drain.

Based on lactic acid:

1. Pour 125 ml of HG descaler for lactic acid coffee machines into the water tank and then fill it with water up to 750 ml (diluted 6 times). If the water tank is less than 750 ml, pour 100 ml of descaler into the tank then fill it with water up to 600 ml (diluted 6x).
2. Allow this solution to act for 10 minutes.
3. Then switch on the appliance and allow half of the liquid to drain out.
4. Switch off the device, let the product act for 10 minutes, then let the rest of the liquid flow out until the tank is completely empty.
5. After treatment, rinse the device at least three times with clean tap water. In the case of a pod percolator, place a support with a used pod in the machine, if necessary, so that it collects any limescale residues. This will prevent any clogs in the drain.
