Instruction for placement and use for tile frame:

Investment:

1. The tile frames must be placed in the closed position, i.e. the lid must be nested in the frame.
2. In no case can the frame be recessed without the interlocking of the lid.
3. The tile frame must be laid at the exact level on a bed of mortar, which implies that the surface of the tile must be at the same level as the upper surface of the frame to be tiled. The frame should not exceed ground level.
4. During the operation of filling the lid with concrete or screed, the thickness of the floor finishing material (tiles, terazzo, pvc, carpet, parquet, etc.) must be taken into account.
5. Note: The strength of the chassis depends on the quality of the filling material!
6. When the lid is placed in asphalt or magnesium products, the expansion of these materials must be taken into account.
7. After jointing (while cleaning the tile surface), the lid must be removed from the frame to allow for the removal of any remains, and to check whether the joint is still properly positioned.
8. Insert the lid back into the frame and screw the assembly together.

Open and close:

1. Remove plastic caps with a screwdriver.
2. Unscrew the hollow six-sided bolts using the supplied key.
3. Screw the supplied pockets as deep as possible and lift the lid.

Note: It is recommended to open each tile frame once a year and grease the inside of the frame.
