AluCover Light and Light-Low are lightweight covers used in applications both inside and outside the building .

The AluCover Light-Low (also called Aco Ready ) has a reduced height version which is particularly suitable for renovation work .

Tileable covers, also called inspection hatches , are made of aluminum alloy . Their material , technique and model meet the most stringent requirements in this area. The joints are not welded, but crimped all around the cover . This unique technique guarantees a more robust structure and a more aesthetic finish .

Special lifting keys allow the cover to be removed quickly and effortlessly year after year.

The AluCover Light and Light Low tileable covers have been checked and tested by a testing and research institute with a test load of 15 kN (class A) for a minimum concrete filling of 60 mm. If necessary, a reinforcement can be integrated to obtain a higher resistance class.

Instructions for placement and use for tileable frames:

Placement:

1. The frames to be tiled must be installed in the closed position, i.e. the cover must be fitted into the frame.
2. Under no circumstances can the frame be recessed without the cover fitting.
3. The frame to be tiled must be laid exactly level on a bed of mortar, which means that the surface of the tiling must be level with the top surface of the frame to be tiled. The frame must not exceed ground level.
4. During the operation of filling the cover with concrete or screed, the thickness of the floor finishing material (tiles, terazzo, PVC, carpet, parquet, etc.) must be taken into account.
5. Note: The strength of the frame depends on the quality of the filling material!
6. If the cover is installed in asphalt or a magnesium-based product, the expansion of these materials must be taken into account.
7. After grouting (during cleaning of the tiling surface), the cover must be removed from the frame to allow any remains to be removed, and to check whether the grout is still correctly positioned.
8. Insert the cover back into the frame and screw it all together.

Open and close:

1. Remove the plastic caps with a screwdriver.
2. Unscrew the hexagon socket bolts using the wrench provided.
3. Screw in the provided handles as deep as possible and lift the lid.

Note: It is recommended to open each frame to be tiled once a year and grease the inside of the frame.
