Toit-Étanche - Waterproof roof protection - Aquaplan

A fibre- reinforced maintenance coating for repairing , protecting and sealing flat and slightly pitched bituminous roofs and gutters.

After drying , Toit-Étanche forms a well adherent and slightly elastic layer which seals all the pores and all the cracks .

Application :

Applicable on all kinds of bituminous rolls (roofing).

Can also be used on wood, masonry work, cementing and concrete to seal terraces, buried walls and foundations.
Can be applied on a slightly damp support, the drying process will just be slowed down.

Useful information:

• Clean the tools with water as soon as you are finished.
• Ecological formula: Toit-Etanche does not contain harmful solvents.
  By using this product, you contribute to respecting the environment.
• Store Toit-Etanche in a cool place (max. 20°C) and protected from frost.
• Do not install Roof-Etanche when the ambient temperature or the temperature of the substrate is below + 5° C or above + 50° C.

Manual :

1. Dust and degrease the support first.
2. Repair blowholes, cracks and crevices with Repair Mastic or Mastic -Toiture SBS , possibly reinforced with the tear-proof polyester Anti-Fissures strip.
   Leave to dry sufficiently (approx. 1 week) before continuing.
3. Clean the substrate and impregnate it with Roofprimer quick-drying bituminous adhesive varnish to ensure optimum adhesion.
4. Apply 2 crossed coats of Waterproof Roof with the brush or roller at a rate of +/- 0.5 kg/m²/coat and ensure that each coat is protected from rain, frost and fog for at least 4 hours. less.
5. The initial brown color becomes completely black.
6. Only apply the 2nd coat after the first coat has fully cured.
   This lasts about 24 to 36 hours.
   In the last, still wet layer, slate flakes can be scattered as additional UV protection.
