Anti-rust paste - Akemi

Effortlessly removes rust stains and blooms from acid-resistant natural and artificial stones.
In addition, it acts directly on the chemical composition of the metallic veins of natural stone (granite) which are susceptible to rust and thus gives the stone long-lasting rust protection.

Well suited for use on vertical surfaces.
Concentrated cleaning product, acid-based, without hydrochloric acid.

Do not use on limestone and acid-sensitive stones!

Features :

  • AKEMI Anti-Rust is an intensive cleaner based on inorganic acids with non-ionic tensors and corrosion inhibitors.
  • The product does not contain hydrochloric acid.
  • Yield: approx. 0.25 to 0.5 m²/litre.

Use :

  1. Apply pure on absolutely dry stone with a firm brush.
To prevent new rust formation in untreated areas and color differences, treat the entire surface of the stone.
  2. Leave on for up to 24 hours after application, if necessary.
  3. Avoid drying of the treated surface or cover with a plastic film.
  4. Rinse thoroughly with water until all product residue is removed.
  5. Repeat the process on the dry stone in case of very heavy rust.
  6. After the treatment it is recommended to protect the stone with AKEMI Hydrofuge Pierre or AKEMI Anti-Stain products to act against the penetration of aqueous agents and against a renewal of rust.
