Sika ADPrep is a colorless cleaning agent containing solvents.
Sika ADPrep has been developed especially for the preliminary treatment of SikaFast adhesives.

Application areas

• Sika ADPrep is used to improve adhesion on substrates, such as metals and plastics, before bonding with SikaFast glues.
• This product is intended for experienced professional users only.
• In order to be able to guarantee the adherence and the compatibility of the material, it is imperative to carry out tests with the original materials under the conditions of the moment.

Application

1. Wipe the surfaces to be treated with a clean, lint-free paper soaked in Sika ADPrep (not wet).
2. When using on polyamide, apply with a brush.
3. Never immerse the web of paper in adhesive cleaner.
4. Only wipe the surface with a clean side of the paper.
5. Change the paper towel each time and do not soak the same paper towel twice.
6. Sika ADPrep should be used sparingly as an excess of adhesion promoter can lead to adhesion failure.
7. If the pre-treated area is not bonded within the maximum flash-off time, the activation process must be repeated (only possible once).
8. The ideal temperature for application and support is between 15°C and 25°C.
9. The consumption of material depends on the nature of the support and the method of implementation.
10. Close the box immediately and hermetically after each use.
