InsulSound Ultra+ - Acoustic underlay for floating floors - Insulco

Revolutionary high-performance acoustic underlay for semi-solid or laminate floating floors .

It very effectively reduces impact noise between floors but it also reduces the sound emitted into the room by the floating floor when you walk on it.

InsulSound Ultra+ will offer great ease of installation thanks to its smooth top film in tear -resistant PE-HD . A perfectly flat and self-adhesive covering system will ensure good maintenance and perfect sealing of the junctions.

Being waterproof , the InsulSound Ultra+ acoustic underlay will also provide good protection for your parquet against humidity .

Facility :

• Substrate preparation:

The floor should be smooth and carefully brushed.

• Installation of the membrane:

Unroll InsulSound Ultra+, gray foam side down and black film side up, working up the walls laterally. Lay the foam edge to edge and adjust the flat covering over the double-sided adhesive tape of the adjacent band. Peel off the protective yellow tape to attach the side seal.

• Laying the floor:

Implementation of parquet designed to be placed in floating installation. The parquet should in no case be in lateral contact with the walls.

• Finishing :

Cut the excess InsulSound Ultra+ and attach the skirting board to the wall slightly higher than the parquet. Then make a tight flexible seal.

Composition :

insulSound Ultra+ is a 2 mm closed cell physically cross-linked polyolefin foam covered with a tear-proof and waterproof PE-HD film.
