Insulit BI+20 - Acoustic and thermal underlay for concrete floors - Insulco

Unique and exclusive acoustic AND thermal underlay for screed. This membrane limits the transmission of impact and shock noise between floors. It also improves the thermal resistance of the floor.

It is placed under a floating screed of ± 8 cm thickness.

Standards:

It has thermal and acoustic test reports following tests carried out according to the criteria of the latest standards in force.

Insulit Bi+ 20 is part of the official list of products whose data is recognized for PEB .

The use of this officially recognized data in the context of EPB calculations makes it possible to ensure that these data are not disputed by the Regions during checks on EPB declarations.

Facility :

1. If necessary, make an equalizing screed to cover the pipes and other ducts. Otherwise, unroll insulit Bi+20 directly on the techniques.

2. Unroll the strips of the insulit Bi+20 membrane edge to edge.

3. The maintenance of the coverings will be ensured thanks to the self-adhesive tape provided.

4. Make the junction between the wall and the Bi+20 insulit with the Lfoam self-adhesive peripheral strip.

5. Create a screed about 8 cm thick on the insulit Bi+20 insulating underlay.

6. Cut off the excess Lfoam after laying the final covering.

• Material: Physically Crosslinked Polyolefin + Acoustic Polyester Felt.
• Thickness: ±23 mm (under 1.5 kPa).
• Colour: Anthracite (foam) + Black (felt).
• Dynamic stiffness: s't ≤ 6 MN/m³ (EN 29052-1).
• Compression: ±5% under 2 kPa (5% tolerance).

• For logistical reasons: orders that are too small or too light may be declined. In general, the minimum order is 20m², but we are still listening.
