Insulit Bi+9 is an underlay intended for the acoustic insulation of the floor. It greatly limits the transmission of impact noise and airborne noise between floors.

This high-performance membrane is placed under a screed at least 6 cm thick.

This is the most technical and high performance thin underlay on the market.

Composition :

Insulit Bi+9 is made of cross-linked EVA polyethylene foam with closed microcells assembled with a felt with very low dynamic stiffness.

This double structure allows, thanks to the felt, to correct the low frequencies from 100 to 500 Hz and the foam corrects the medium and high frequencies from 500 Hz to 5000 Hz.

The upper part of the foam is provided with a highly tear-resistant reflective aluminized film . The lateral foam covering of ± 10 cm and its integrated adhesive offer a clean, neat work and guarantee an ideal installation.

Floating pose:

The insulit Bi+9 acoustic underlay is placed under a floating screed at least 6 cm thick. It separates the screed from the rest of the building structure and thus prevents the transmission of noise through the floors.
