Application

1. Sikaflex-552 AT can be applied at temperatures between 5 °C and 40 °C.
   Changes in responsiveness and application properties must be taken into account.
2. The optimal temperature for the substrate and the glue is between 15°C and 25°C.
3. Note that viscosity increases at cool temperatures.
4. To facilitate application, warm the glue to room temperature.
5. To obtain a consistent thickness of glue, it is recommended to apply the glue in a triangular bead.
6. Apply Sikaflex-552 AT using a cartridge/portion gun or a suitable pumping installation.
7. The skin formation time is significantly shorter in hot and humid climates.
8. Always assemble the components within the skin formation timeframe.
9. Once a skin has formed, do not press further.
